Many guests appreciate the modern, light bedrooms with comfortable beds, alongside a great English breakfast. While some found the stairs a bit steep and narrow, others enjoyed the charm of the pub setting and the convenience of having breakfast served in the restaurant downstairs. Some rooms feature nice touches such as a Dyson fan and Roberts digital radio.

amazing experience!

central location great variety friendly staff

the location was central! walking everywhere was easy. breakfast had a great variety of options. the staff was really friendly and helpful!

The stairs were a bit steep and narrow. It was tough getting luggage up.

The included breakfast was acceptable. It had basic options.

The noise from the street kept me awake. The single-glazed windows offered no sound protection. My room was on the third floor, but there was no elevator. Lugging my suitcase up those narrow stairs was not fun.

the room was clean with sufficient space for a short stay. a good choice of breakfasts was available. the location was ideal and close to the town centre and transport.

The room shook every time a bus passed. the decor looked scruffy and needs a refresh. i noticed that the floors were not level. It felt strange when walking.

street noise room noise

The location was great for getting around. It was pretty central.

I wasn't happy about the noise. I could hear everything from the street below and even the people in the next room. this made it hard to relax and sleep well.
